Are you looking for a moment to relax and recharge?
We invite you to spend some hours of your weekend connecting with yourself and nature. No phone, no duties, just you and your yoga mat. Marleen and Anna will guide you during yoga, breathing exercises and meditation. Next to some active yoga practice, you will get a chance to explore yogic sleep and try a walking meditation. You can escape the city and wander around in the middle of green fields.
The retreat is hosted at a beautiful, remote location in Hoogmade, only 8 km from Leiden. During the day you can taste some delicious vegan recipes, and in season we will use as much as possible straight from the vegetable and fruit garden.

11:30 – 12:00 Breathing and Yoga Nidra
12:00 – 12:45 Lunch
12:45 – 13:45 Meditation and mindful walking

ABOUT THE TEACHERS:
Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra and meditation teacher
To me yoga is a constant exploration and personal development process. Either through vinyasa movements or nidra relaxation, it gives me necessary space for my feelings and emotions. This for me is the essence of yoga and what I would like to share with you as well – how to dive deeper into yourself, how to be more aware of your body and emotions, but also how to enjoy the practice and the time you give yourself on the mat.
Mindful Meditation Teacher
During my studies in Health and Medical Psychology I first heard about meditation and the benefits on (prevention of) medical conditions. I was hooked from that moment. Still every day I learn new things. With The Flexible Mind my goal is to inspire people to have an open and appreciating attitude towards daily life and live in a way that fits your personal values.
